ok, so I've got nbatv on in the background as I'm working on my laptop, and the game is memphis-denver. It's really pissing me off that they keep referring to warrick as "hakim", because I can't help but look at the game thinking I'll see Hakeem. I keep getting let down seeing nobody special. somebody needs to tell these announcers that warrick hasn't earned enough respect yet to go by his first name, especially considering said names significance.
At first, I thought this was a serious thread. Anyway, the Grizz get their first win at the Pepsi Center after 15 straight losses. They also get their first road win of the season after 7 losses. Hakim Warrick is a definite keeper. A very good draft choice by Mr. Logo. I only saw the last 10 minutes and the Nuggets defense was non-existant.
Rememebr what I was saying in the game thread vs. Houston. They lull you to sleep and the next thing you know you are down 10 and time is ticking. Almost happened to Houston until they went off in the 3rd quarter.
