Last night when Steve Francis was on Section 610 (610AM Radio) Charlie(host) asked him if he had heard anything about the results of Hakeem's "tests" regarding fatigue. Apparently Hakeem is really struggling for breath since coming back from hernia surgery, and is concerned enough about it to have some tests done. Steve didn't know, but has anybody else heard anything about it? In the time I listened to the show (20 minutes), I heard Francis yawn 4 times!! Hopefully he wakes up in time for tonights game
I heard on the morning show that he should receive the results of the blood test today. That's all I know.
Maybe he's suffering from another bout of anemia. I think something else has to be wrong with him. If you are fatigued, all you need to do is run wind sprints. I would hope he has been doing that. Is it still Ramadan?
I would bet that Hakeem is fatigued because he is out of shape. He is just not used to it, he just needs to break through and get a second wind. DaDakota
Ramadan is over. Most likely scenario is that now that he's older, it's taking longer to recover from injury and Hakeem's not used to it.
Rumor has it he may be suffering from anemia again. Hakeem felt fine for the Miami game, but said he just couldn't get going for the Minnesota game. If he does have anemia and has to go out again, you lottery kids just may get your wish. ------------------ The key for the Rockets is a winning attitude and mentality which can only be had by winning basketball games.
I hope all is well. no matter what, I am enjoying having Hakeem back and NOTHING will deter that. Same for the coach. Hakeem has been there before, just think good thoughts ! ------------------ We would like to get rookie Francis on the break for some easy scoops in the first quarter...
