Has anyone heard of news pertaining to Hakeem in Amman, Jordan after the recent bombings? I am interested to hear his take on the matter.

i doubt he stays in a hotel... he's worth tens of millions, is quite recognized around the world as a all-world basketball superstar, and is an American citizen ... we would have found out immediately if anything happened to him :)

Hakeem stays in hotels. I saw him for the first time in my life about 12 years ago in the Hilton in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

that's right, but he was a visitor in AlKhobar. Jordan is where he lives semi-permanently so hotels wouldn't make sense.

by the way shout out to AlKhobar... i was born and raised there :)

You grew up in Khobar?! No way!

I grew up in Dhahran, but khobar was my playground.

It's a sick tread for you, but sure is a good thread for Rockets fans who have compassion for fellow human being and affection for their basketball hero.

khobar dhahran dammam are essentially the same ... it's like saying ur from sugar land or katy or spring pretty much

folks in riyadh have never seen bodies of water, so i'm not even going to comment about how boring it is lol

    jeddah is nice too

taif is good if you like that lifestyle

all are really laid back places to live... good times !
