Does anyone know how to train your hair flat? I wanna know if there are any products or anything to help get it flat.

Keep brushing it flat as much as you can...... Wear some kind of hat as much as possible...maybe buy some gel with crazy hold and style it flat with it.. should help train the hair.

You mean you have curly hair and you want to train it to not be curly? If so, then the answer is no. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to buy flat irons in every hair section of every store.

Nope it's not curly. Like after i'm done showering it goes kinda spiky but i've been wearing a do rag or a wave cape when I get out of the shower. Problem is that I want it to be flat for a bit longer and not mess up when im out or something.

nah, i wouldnt know of anything specific, but i know there's some pretty strong stuff out there....i guess look for a glue hold, or something like that...maybe put it on at night and sleep with it on.

what did u do, cut it short, like a #3 or #4?

Just grew mine out, it's still short. I usually get a #2 and fade in the back.
Like I can use any gel right?

Then i'm guessing you're in the awkward stage where it just sticks out...that's probably around a #3 and up to as high as a #6....There's some point in between there where you really can't do anything and just have to roll with what you have, especially if you've been cutting it short for a long time. Some people's hair will still lay down easily, but it doesnt appear to be your type.

I dont think just any gel would do, especially the average kind that looks like jelly. You'd need something that is hair glue or wax and literally feels like that too. I dont use it, so i can't recomment anything, but i know they exist. Maybe ask the cashier for a popular brand.

However, at your hair length that still may not be enough or it'll require a lot of it and that may look worse than just leaving it alone. You may want to try asking at a barbershop or men's hair salon also.

LOL.... Thanks for the comments guys.

RV, Yeah I have some gel I got from this barber shop before I started going to those smaller places that know how to use the clipper better.

I guess its at a #3 right now and just need it to grow a little bit longer.

    Thanks.
