So in summary, no one knows how the voting system really works. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8367786376074634512&q=hacking+democracy
It will soon work the way the people who control Diebold, Sequoia etc want it to work. Electronic voting= fraud "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything." - Joseph Stalin
Machine Records Dem Vote for GOP The Missouri Senate race is perhaps the closest in the country, and polls are being watched very closely, by both sides, for any errors or malfeasance. http://electioncentral.tpmcafe.com/...ov/07/mo_sen_machine_records_dem_vote_for_gop
Sorry, this stuff has already been deciding elections. Remember how so many exit polls (which are seldom, seldom, seldom incorrect) had Kerry leading by comfortable margins two years ago, and yet he still managed to lose? Smaller races have shown gross inbalances of numbers when votes are counted (countywide elections, etc). Democracy? Yep. Democracy in action.
Electronic votes are not counted by county election officials and are not verified by anyone in the precinct. private companies do that with software that is easily compromised
Ohio '04 was a prime example of electronic vote fraud and congressional cover up... but like you said if you study up enough you realize it is happening.
Some friends and I were talking and thought, wouldn't it be great if we had a summary or matrix of all the candidates. This matrix would include their stances on issues, with an explaination on each issue, 300 words or less...That would make everyone informed and would avoid alot of voting party lines... We can't really rely on the newspapers or politicians for that matter, as they are biased...Something like an objective 3rd party...I'm voting after work...
i would have LOVED that before the election. i spent countless amount of hours looking through newspapers and websites trying to find specific issues the candidiates supported and what not. and i was still skeptical about the info (i have a paranoia about bias).
