I see this comment ALL THE TIME on message boards and in comments and honestly its getting really OLD. I'm quite sure that everyone who goes through a medical issue probably thanked their Doctors...possibly every time they saw them. There is nothing wrong with people also thanking the Deity they believe in. Nobody is downplaying the role of the Doctor. As a Christian, in no way would I EVER be snarky to someone for thanking Allah or Dhanvantari. Even though I don't believe like a Muslim or Hindu, I don't think I could be so Rude and offensive to them.
Sometimes ppl just need to know they are important and needed/loved. She is probably really grateful for ppl like u in her life. Good job ! and best of luck to her
