Can anyone recommend a good but affordable place to take guitar lessons at in Houston or surrounding area? I want to start learning but I need someone to teach me in the beginning ... then I can go on my own. Years ago I took a few lessons for about 2 months at Evans Music City but I wasnt very serious about it.. I want to learn how to play for real this time. So I can either start with lessons and someone guiding me for a month or so or get How To Play Guitar for Dummies
There is a website that teaches you the basic chords with FLASH animation, and you can do it along. I forgot where it is. If I find it tomorrow, I will edit. In the meantime... what about PIANO lessons? I always wanted to learn that shiznit. Or do I just mimic and play by ear?
