I want a guitar too, so i can be a "rockstar." "wow, you play guitar?" "yeah, well yes i do," says kam.
Thanks Pipe and Pipe jr.! He already has two electric guitars, a cheaper Squire and his Ibanez, which he does most of his playing on. He's gotten really good on his Ibanez, esp. since we switched guitar teachers. This new guy is a really good player and teacher, and the improvement has been dramatic since the switch. My son loves his rock and roll. However, he wants to expand, and he wants to try the more classical route...thus, the acoustic. I wish I had $350 to spend on a guitar, but I don't. That's why I'm trying to find the best deal I can. Remember, even if I get the best acoustic ever made, he's still 15 yrs old and going to want to rock out first. If he chooses a scholarship to Juliard over touring with a rock band, then I'll spring for the better guitar.
