Considering that I've worked on campaigns and have even been recruited to run for office, I turned it down, I am very partisan. Of course this was the Minnesota Independence (Jesse Ventura's) Party.
^ I don't know if they were on 'roids but it was a requirement to be on them if you worked for the campaign. How else do you think we had the energy to stage such a come from behind victory. Seriously though I actually didn't work on the Ventura campaign and campaigned for Tim Penny. I enjoyed Jesse as a character and thought in general he did a good job as governor, except for shooting his mouth off and working for the XFL. I was drawn to the Independence party because of his chief of staff Dean Barkley and Tim Penny both of whom IMO have a great vision for moderate and pragmatic government and would be a credit to not only Minnesota but the US.
