There's always plenty of ground longhorn in the Dallas area after UT plays Oklahoma...

My guess is that Longhorn beef is probably a lot more expensive than turkey. I could be wrong, and if so I'll definitely look into it...but for the money I'll stick with turkey.

You are correct. There's always a catch. ;)
Longhorn beef in the Dallas area is around $3.99 - $4.99/lb in the Dallas area. But hey, you don't fall asleep because of the tryptophan! :D

    franchise403,

The only place I've bothered looking for it is at Tom Thumb grocery stores. And Tom Thumb is the same thing as Randall's in Houston, so Randall's may carry it, too.

Actually, they are advertising that they are made with real "white meat" chicken.

Most of the meat in chicken McNuggets used to be dark meat. Now they are 100% white meat.

    1. was it ever real meat?

    2. was it ever meat from actual chickens? (as opposed to, you know, squirrels, rats...)

    3. was it actually lean meat, or parts not normally eaten? like fat, entrails...

Even then, and even if it's actual white meat now, is it all one chunk of meat from one chicken? I bet it's not. Even most people's chicken nuggets aren't. As Ken Hoffman said about some pressed chicken patty product once, there are multiple chickens fighting each other in there. :p Chick-Fil-A has real chicken nuggets... white meat, from a single source.
