I think we all know he belongs there but I think his first month or two of play didn't help his cause.

    Rookie Team Roster:

    Shane Battier Memphis
    Pau Gasol Memphis F
    Brendan Haywood Washington
    Joe Johnson Boston G
    Andrei Kirilenko Utah F
    Tony Parker San Antonio
    Zeljko Rebraca Detroit C
    Jason Richardson
    Jamaal Tinsley Indiana

    Sophomore Team Roster:

    Marcus Fizer Chicago
    Kenyon Martin New Jersey
    Desmond Mason Seattle
    Chris Mihm Cleveland
    Mike Miller Orlando G
    Lee Nailon Charlotte F
    Morris Peterson Toronto
    Quentin Richardson LA Clippers
    Stromile Swift Memphis F
    Hedo Turkoglu Sacramento

kenyon martin would probably just tackle him and eddie would punch him in retaliation. so maybe this is a good thing! :)

Kirilenko over Griffin...stats hold true to it, but no rookie has played better all around than EG over the past 7-10 games......but, you are right...first month hurt him.

Griffin being left off the roster is a load of crap! I hope rosters were selected earlier, otherwise there are some really idiotic people running the NBA...wait, what am I talking about? We already know there are!

Wait a second, are you telling me Dan Langhi is NOT on the sophomore roster. What a tragedy! I just hope this doesn't hurt his confidence and he starts to play badly.

Seems like Richard Jefferson and Troy Murphy have legitimate gripes as well.

But truthfully, EG will be in the big game in two or three years unlike, say, Kirilenko and Battier.

ANBODY WONDERING ABOUT the extra player on the sophmore team, here is the quote from NBA.com. So probably no chance of Eddie making team, unless somebody gets hurt. THANKS RUDY, now lets hear you tell the media that you are shocked that Eddie is not on that team. DUMBAS**

Woudn't Haywood's first month hindered him as well?

Haywood's first month doesnt hinder him because he didn't play in any of those games, while Eddie played small minutes in each game. Therefore Haywood's averages are not harmed while Eddie's are. So, it is obvious that only the stats matter, because if they were looking at recent performances, clutch play, and intangibles, Eddie would definately be in.
