Right now the Rockets are heading into double overtime... but what an AWFUL call on Barkley to put Luc Longley on the line. Maybe I missed it, but I saw NO foul.

The Rockets wouldn't be in this position if they could hit their free throws... but what an AWESOME game.... I have not screamed that loud since a Rocket playoff game when Cato got the bucket and foul with 3+ seconds left. Too bad the horrendous call.

No matter what -- pure entertainment tonight!

Glad to see your post,Clutch. I was wondering if it was just me that thought it was a lousy call.

I don't know who was next to him, but Chuck put an arm out on him when he went up for the rebound. It was an OK call (not that I liked it)...

  4. Actually I think it was Longly. On the replay it looked more like an Ole style push to get positioning, by Barkley.

We got so many favorable calls tonight, especially for a road game, that you had to figure we had a bad break coming. Chuck certainly put a couple of phantom fouls on guys in the post. Too bad the refs decided to pay him back with 3.5 left in the game.

Make no mistake: this team wants to win.

That was another game that they learned more about ball control, the importance of free throws, and the advantage of playing at home.

I Love This Team!!!!

Don't blame the refs, that was the right call, it was STUPID of Charles to try to push off with a 1 point lead and only 3.5 seconds left. DUMB, DUMB, DUMB.

There were some HORRIBLE calls, but there were few. Unfortunately for us, they came at the most inconvenient times.

I wouldn't mind the Barkley call so much if they actually showed some ****ing consistency and gave Mobes his trip to the line when he was mugged.

Typical excuse: "Well, it was late in the game, the refs aren't going to blow the whistle."

Well, they sure as hell blew it against CB4, a hall of famer no less, when we had a one point lead going for the kill. If they really want to get home that fast, maybe they should take a break from raping the Rockets.

And that's all I have to say about that.

The refs were horrible except for a couple of calls that went our way. Kidd had his hands all over Francis but Francis couldn't do it back without getting called for the foul. MObley was fouled at the end of the game with no call, I don't care if it is the last play of the game, they should call it. They called in on Chuck with 3 seconds left. No one ever gets called for that. They all push each other all over the place. It was a weak foul on Longley - he must have flopped cus Chuck can't push that big ox around

But we shot ourselves in the foot with the free throws, turnovers. We lost it not the refs. Then Francis went down. How much more bad luck can we get? Every year it seems like.

Im not going to blame the loss on officiating, but the officials did blow several calls with the game on the line.

Like you guy's said ,we make the free throw's and we would have won,but for the record THE REF'S SUCKED.

That was definitely a bad call, Longley tried to put a hand on Barkley because he perceived CB was getting inside, Cb pushed off his hand and Lonley flopped. Those dayam refs were just looking for a chance to hand it over to the Suns. This is not the first bad calls against the Rockets, at least five in this game. Those jackass refs.

Refs certainly make calls at the end of a game, they did that against the pacers and handed Larry Johnson the 4 point play. It's just tonight they give it to the Suns.

As a High School Ref, it looked like Barkley pushed Longley. It is a tough call, but the right one.

What I can't believe is why Barkley would even attempt that. I mean we were up by 1 with 3.5 seconds left. At least 1/2 a second would have gone off the clock on the miss, leaving only 3 for Phoenix to try to win the game. I like our chances.

Chuck has to be smarter then that, he is teaching the young ones some real STUPID lessons. The 3 against Vancouver, tonights late UNECESSARY FOUL. Wise up CHuck !!!!

The loose ball foul on Chuck was valid - he put an arm on the guy next to him when he went to the rebound. That was a good call. There were a couple of questionable calls before that, but...

The Rocks lost this game on the FT line, plain and simple. Had they shot decently from the line, it never would've gont to OT. I guarantee you that.

This team IS good. But it has to spend more time practicing at the FT line. These are essentially gimme ("Free") points, and the Rocks are pissing them away when the other team is making them.

    Details... Practice.

On second thought, I agree with you guys that the call was valid. Charles shouldn't even have tried to push the hand off. But we still lost this game because of bad officiating, Cuttino was hammered in the end of the fourth but no foull was called.
