Thank you, david_rocket. That was nice. Good to see Francisco Palencia is still playing well in yet another team.
No, they didn't. The "reverse angle" you're talking about is a pass from Toluca's midfielder into the box. That wasn't a Pumas pass. :D

That was a damn nice goal.

On another note, Pumas have one of the coolest looking jerseys ever.

Looked nice, but the goalie was sleeping.

I disagree. Most goalies won't reach that volley. :( I know I wouldn't have. He followed it, but couldn't stretch far enough to reach it. Meh, come to think of it, it may have been a beautiful goal, but you know that most goalies aren't ready for that... Palencia's shot went to the smaller angle the goalie had given him, yet he still got it past him. Tristante is one of the better goalies in the Mexican League.

It looks like he shifted to the left just before the shot and had to stop his momentum and go back to his right, he may have gotten to it otherwise.

That's some first touch!!! Usually you see the player try to control the pass and then strike the ball. Something like the Argentina goal against Mexico (Sorry Swoly that's the 1st goal that came to mind).

I don't think any goalie could have stopped that goal.

It is difficult to anticipate a shot like that as a goalie.

    Gool?

Ehh...that was the soccer equivalent of a half court shot. He basically just stuck his foot out and it bounced towards the goal...

Palencia's would be closer to a player flipping the ball up over his shoulder as he hears the whistle just to try and get a shot off.
