Since bigtexx is announcing his retirement, I'll use this chance to proclaim humbly my return to the boards. Like texxx, my year-long absence was for personal reasons, but I'm at a place in my life now where I can again waste hours a day arguing with r****ds about political drivel. My priorities are back in line.

I agree with A-Train - things in life are constantly changing, but it is close to impossible to quit the boards (although I have pretty much quit at night and on weekends). Hope things work out for you, texxx.

You're right. Political posts on a rouge forum (that the moderators don't even pay attention to anymore) of a basketball website are SERIOUS BUSINESS. I'm sorry for underestimating the importance of them.
