Good Xbox 360 games?

    I took the plunge last week and bought myself a 360, and I'm looking for some good games to play or possibly rent.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Games I own:
    Forza 2/Marvel Ultimate Alliance
    Halo 3
    Beautiful Katamari

    I also own Oblivion for my PC and have already played GOW before, so those are out. Really, I'm looking for something different than a FPS. I'm not a huge shooter kind of guy, Halo is enough for me there.

    Anyone got some good recommendations?

    that should keep you occupied for quite some time.
    you should try some arcade titles (download).

    also PGR4 is suppose to be good. and, off course all the guitar heros (2, 3 coming this month) and rock band (later)

    Mass Effect is coming nov (sci fi rpg). and of course Madden.

    I'll probably pick up Mass Effect when it comes out...

    For some reason I'm not too into the sports games. I haven't enjoyed a basketball game since ESPN Basketball (the first 2k game on PS2) and NBA 2K before that. I also do not enjoy Madden all that much.

    It's been out for a while now, so you should be able to find it for a good price: Dead Rising

    That is just a fun fun incredibly awesome game.. nothing could be more fun than whacking endless hordes of zombies with baseball bats, 2x4s, katanas, axes, lead pipes, chainsaws, benches, convertibles, potted plants, giant umbrellas, motorcycles, hunting knives, golf clubs, cash registers, giant drills, (the list goes on and on..) - all while having to take naughty pictures of girls' undies..

    Dang, I need to play that again when I get home... ;)

    get the "orange box" for 360. You get half-life 2 (greatest game ever?), Episode 1 & 2, Team Fortress 2, and a puzzle game called Portal....all for $59.

    Also, Bioshock.

    Many laugh, but I played LEGO Star Wars like a fiend when I first got my 360. Now that is something laced with crack, lol...

    Ok, hands down the best game Ive played in my ENTIRE life is Ghost Recon 2. I play on XBL everysingle night. They keep ADDING new multiplayer stages to play on every few months to download on XBL Marketplace. If I were you, I would trade in any game you own that you dont really ENJOY. But I warn you, play this game at your own risk. Sometimes I think its just WRONG for a game to take up so much of your free time.

    I don't really know of any good games that aren't FPS's or sports games on the 360

    I don't know too much about C&C, but wouldn't a game like that be better off on a PC?

    I've never played a RTS on a console before...

    Is it good?

    We just bought Guitar Hero 2 for the bar and i thought it was stupid at first but damn im addicted to that game now....lol
