The Masters gets underway today. As usual, Tiger Woods is the favorite going in. It will be interesting to see if he can win his fifth green jacket, or if a dark horse will win it like the last two years. Here is the TV schedule for the tournament (all times CT): Thursday and Friday 3:00 - 6:30pm ESPN Saturday 2:30 - 6:00pm CBS Sunday 1:00 - 6:00pm CBS You can go to The Official Site of the Masters Tournament and view live video feed of Amen Corner and hole numbers 15 and 16. more excited about it this year than in years past. probably has something to do with catching the final round of the sho last weekend.
Some of the early groups have finished their rounds. Now is a good time to look at the scores. Tim Clark is the leader with a score of -4. He shot a 68. There are three others in the clubhouse with scores of -3. Tiger Woods is in the penultimate group and won't tee off for another 45 minutes or so. Here are the scores from some notable players: Jim Furyk two-under through 9 Greg Norman one-under through 11 Lee Westwood one-under through 11 Geoff Ogilvy one-under through 9 Padraig Harrington, going for his third straight major, one-under through 9 Phil Mickelson one-under through 8 Vijay Singh even through 10 Paul Casey, winner of the SHO, even through 1 Sergio Garcia one-over through 8 Fred Couples one-over through 3 Retief Goosen three-over through 12 Ernie Els three-over through 10
Just recently got an LG Vu from AT&T and get to watch it all on their tv service...which is surprisingly good.
I miss the SHO being in The Woodlands. I grew up across the street from the 6th hole/7th tee and got to go every year. I'm not a big golfer by any means, but the SHO was always a great time.
golf tournaments are hugely underrated, even if geoff ogilvy almost made me have a very bad time. his tee shot on the 17th hit the guy standing next to me.
going to watch all 4 rounds since I am home watching my daughter today and tomorrow. Masters is great in HD (actually I just booked a tee time for sat so I will probably miss some of that)
understanding that it isn't as cool for you anymore, the tournament this year was a freaking awesome time. Thursday aside, there was a ton of great golf, great weather, and great players lat weekend. you should go next year...
It's not that. I live in Austin now. If I were still in the area, I'd definitely make it out there at least for the weekend rounds.
One of the best weekends in sports is Masters weekend. All the action begins at 2:30 pm on CBS. Chad Campbell and Kenny Perry sit atop the Leaderboard at -9. Phil Mickelson is at -3 with Tiger one shot behind at -2. Check out the round 3 Pairings and Tee Times.
I am riveted to the set...come on PHIL !! Hit that eagle putt to get to a tie. Wow...both Tiger and Phil blew that eagle. DD
