Will they be able to keep up on the way they play and win enough games to make the playoff?

    They are 11-7 right now.

I think it would help if Bogut come back from his injury.

    Surprise team for 2012-2013?

    Discuss.

Still too early to tell. I bet the over for Warriors season o/u (34.5), but I didn't expect Rush to get hurt, so that and Curry's ankle still worries me.

I think people underrated their off-season moves (signing Landry, trading for Jack, re-signing Rush, bringing in some young guys through the draft... - their bench is/was going to be quite good) and put too much stock in Warriors' last year record. They played pretty well before they went full tank.

I think they'll ultimately come down to earth some and be one of these teams fighting for the last few playoff spots.

No Marc Jackson will be fired at the end of the season and Steph Curry + Bogut will be out the league in 2-3 years. (ala Brandon Roy and Oden)

Landry is beasting and Lee is pretty solid too. Barnes and Klay will keep getting better along with Ezeli. They need to get rid of Biedrins and Jefferson.

Only thing holding them back from playoffs will be Curry and Boguts health.

It took this long, but they are finally playing some defense. Klay Thompson is surprising a lot of people, but the team was always really excited about him, and I think he's a big reason they felt comfortable moving Ellis.

I agree with the "fight for the last couple of playoff spots" scenario. You've got enough teams in front of them by season's end.

Kudos to the coach -- he's better than I thought he'd be.

The sad part here is that I think you're being serious.

It's not like their schedule has been really easy either.

They have a fairly relaxed end to December though - conservatively could see them going 8-5 and finishing the month 19-12. They'd be well positioned to make some playoff noise from there.

Yea who knows of course, but man Curry has horrible ankles.

Curry should have learned to slow down his game, but instead he plays "too quick" as I say, and twists his ankle on every one of those "playing a tad too quick" plays. I think he's a great ball player, and has the potential, but agility is the question with him.

It's actually the other way around. Lee is literally performing as their second best player.

They already let Marc Jackson go in 2002. Without looking at the record I always felt Mark "hand down man down" Jackson would be a good coach.

Pimp Curry has got it pretty well made. Genes from one of the most prolific pure shooters of all time and the guidance from a pg that could dish the rock with the best of them and knew how to play the game.

5 in a row on the road including Miami, wow.

Stay in the cellar long enough and you build up some talent I guess.

They're a fun team to watch. See if you can the next time they're on TV.

They've got all the right ingredients to hit the second round this season and come away better for the learning experience.

    - young shooter: Klay
    - young blood athletic utility player: Harrison Barnes
    - elite big man who can share the ball: Lee
    - great point guard play: Curry and Jack
    - solid sixth man big: our very own Carl Landry
    - defensive big patrolling the paint: Bogut

It's a solid team. Everybody knows their role, everybody thrives in it. Jackson finally has some nice pieces to work with this season.
