So the guy that I quoted in my sig suggested something good. It's probably been talked about before but hell, I thought I would give it a shot. You know how there's a red rowdies section? Well we should have our own ClutchFans section. Organize what seat tickets to buy and all sit next to each other. We won't refer to our real names only our ClutchFans names. There isn't enough fire in the Toyota Center and the Rockets have been playing well enough to deserve real fan support. Screaming, yelling, heckling opposing team's fans. I'm not talking about every game. Just weekend games or holiday games. Most of us here on ClutchFans are proud Rockets fans and I'd rather sit with a group of real fans instead of some j*zz, San antonio turd, or t-puppies fans. I'm sure most of y'all would to. So whadda ya say?

Don't Red Rowdies get free season tickets?
Not to undermine their passion, but that's a huge factor in them going to the games every night.

True, and I realized there's two other threads about us ClutchFans going to a few games together. I'm just saying let's sit in the cheap section, I don't have the kind of money to dish out 100 bucks to sit in some luxury booth and pay for 8 dollar beers. Maybe go grab a drink and walk to the game. I don't know just a suggestion.

    Another poster suggested this game.

I have season tickets and I've only missed 2 home games this year (both loses BTW).
I'm pretty sure one of the major reasons I can go to so many games is because I'm not married and I don't have any kids. There are tons of hardcore fans that have "more important" responsibilities than going to TC so I understand that.

The fans come out when the fans buy in. Until they know for sure that this team will make the playoffs they will flake like they do. I've only met one loyal STH in my section. The rest just buy their tickets online. If you are young and would spend $800 on a new TV then I suggest you get season tickets. It's fun and you feel like a big part of the team IMHO.

stefanb, most people willing and reliable to do that on this bbs already have season-tickets together or 6 or 12 game packages. So, the people most likely to do what you suggest already have tickets.

That's why the Luxury Box becomes a once a year or once every 2 year ... uh ... luxury. People here with season-tickets will still go to a luxury box.

Same with group tickets. For a group discount they are difficult to organize--must be 15 or more people. You should try just 4-6 people at first and buy Flash tickets...make some cfnet game buddies...then get a package next year.

The Minny game is a good place to start.

I would love to do this since to meet some people on here but, I'm too busy with school and don't have a lot of money either. What section did you have in mind?

Maybe if you pick a section and get enough people to go along with this, the Rockets will designate a ClutchFans section, that would be awesome.

How about something cheaper? You should set up a ClutchFans viewing party somewhere. Start small and go from there.

It would be better if we set up something at a bar. What if I have to sit next to that one guy that weighs 400#s and have to lean all night to watch the game. Everybody skinny here?

I bought 10 coupons (vouchers) at $25 a piece recently. It was through a promotional company. Basically, I can buy tickets up to $75 from the box office with each coupon. You can also upgrade seats and cover the difference. The Lakers game is excluded but there are still a lot of games you can pick from.

I thought it was a good deal. Some guy named Tony came by one of our businesses. His # is (407) 470-0944 if anyone wants to call him about this offer.
