WARNING: MAJOR GEEK OUT AHEAD Thought tonight was gonna suck arse. Had to supervise my nephew and missed the new Spider-Man series premiere (sad, my life has come down to anticipating stuff like this ). So I decide to try to salvage the evening by heading over to Wal-Mart and seeing what DVDs I could snag cheap. Lo and behold, they've got the original V mini-series and the cinematic classic, The Last Boyscout both in the cheap bins. Sweet. So I'm heading for the checkout lanes and who do I spot? The single biggest crush of my life. GASP. Not good, I wasn't exactly looking my best. I quickly dodge her and try to think of a back-up plan. After pacing the store for ten minutes I just said **** it and decided to take my rejection like a man rather than sulk around on "what if" for the rest of my life. Of course, by then I've lost her. I searched for another twenty minutes before giving up. Oh well, still had some nifty DVDs. On my way through the parking lot, I hear her sweet voice call me. Hehe. Did the standard catching up thing and exchanged numbers. Sorry for the geeking out guys, just on an extreme high right now.
Heh, it's ok. Nothing can bring me down right now. Minor cross to bear anyway- at least I'm not a PhotoShop Star!
