Patrick Ewing is just a sorry, sorry excuse for a basketball player... how in the **** can anyone allow 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 blocks to Greg Ostertag?
Ewing didn't do that bad - it's Pat Garrity that allowed most of that. Don't know Pat Garrity? Think Langhi minus two inches with less skill.
Osterprickfromhell was on the bench when Ewing was in the game. Ewing was actually quite effective in his limited minutes. He rebounded quite well. Still, you are right about one thing: Osterbastard should NEVER be allowed more than 4 or 5 boards and 3 points. He has zero talent, just height. That was shameful. Still: Rockets: 5-2 Jazz: 3-5
I don't mean to bring back bad memories or anything. But in Game 6 of the 97 WCF, Ostertag had 16 points and double-digit [forget the exact number] boards on perfect 6-6 shooting versus Hakeem. I don't know about the number of blocks, but I vividly remember [and probably have on tape somewhere] a HUGE block by Ostertag on Hakeem late in the fourth quarter that further fueled the Jazz's rally. So I don't know how Ewing allowed those huge numbers by Ostertag, but it certainly has been done before.
