Eh, not trying to be a troll...but I know Rocketman95 is a UT guy..was just curious if he would hold to his principles of "a foul is a foul" if it was the horns season that was ending cause a ref got trigger happy on the whistle at the end of the game. I have seen the video and it looked pretty ticky tack to me...
Then why didn't you address it to me? Of course I would still hold to that principle. Hopefully we don't have to find out. But ******* some of you make it hard to root for any other school than UT like I do with UH and Rice. Maybe I'll just leave my rooting interests with the Horns and Bobcats...

I know it's hard not to feel jobbed, MM, but when you play so poorly in so many aspects of the game - like UH did - it's tough to say the refs cost you the game. That's alls I'm saying. I'm really looking forward to the Coogs being a strong program again, went to a ton of games as a kid, early 80's up through the Pat Foster-Tim Moore team (that I think was the last to make the tourney). Would be nice to have a reason to head back to Hofheinz.
Eh...probably my bad. I know the NIT isn't much to follow...but its the first chance I have had to see my team in the playoffs since the Astros. If its a mugging, sure call it....but if its something questionable, why have a game settled at the foul line. I admit it I haven't rooted for the Horns in a while....but I am down with the Bobcats..lol
That's what 11 BW3 beers will do to ya! But you're no more stunned than I was when I read the "go WVU" e-mail. I completely understand that point of view, I just don't agree with it. I don't think the rules should magically change depending on how much time is left on the clock. Should the traveling rules change? Double dribble? Goal-tending?
But they do all the time. All 40 minutes of a game matter. If only the last two minutes of a game decide it, then why play all 40 minutes?
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I disagree with you on whether or not a foul should be called at 2.9 seconds left if it was called at 15 minutes left and you pull out personal insults. Nice.
But why? If you don't call ticky-tack fouls late but do the rest of the game, you're giving an advantage to the defense at the end of the game. You're saying the defense should be allowed to do things they otherwise wouldn't be. How is that letting the players decide the game? That's giving a clear advantage to one team over the other.
