Glen Robinson may be wavied or traded by the 76ers soon. Do you guys think we should go after him? He's a great shooter and a good third option on this team.

Interesting, he might be an upgrade at the 3 position and allow JJ to go to the bench.

The only reason why I'd take him would be for the expiring contract. Otherwise, he's just another one of those "never lived up to his potential" guys.

An eight man rotation of :

    Yao Ming
    Tracy Mcgrady
    Glenn Robsinson
    Maurice Taylor
    Bobby Sura
    Jim Jackson
    Juwan Howard
    Dikembe Mutombo

would be pretty kick-ass I think. Although Im not sure about Robinson's "attitude". Why do the sixers want to trade/cut him anyways?

I wouldn't trade for him, but might consider picking him up cheap after he's waived.

Aparently he's been dealing with "family issues" all season long, hasn't played a game, lost his starting job, and has been on the injured list.

The 76er's are trying desperately to unload his contract, and the situation is pretty ugly. It's unlikely he'll ever play another game in Philly.

Kenny Thomas is starting over him.
They like KT more than this dude.

    Ray Allen dissed him.

Isn't he in a contract year though. That usually makes bad dogs good little puppies.

I would go for it. Van G won't take any crap and Big Dog knows it. If he misbehaves everybody will know it and he will loose millions.

No to the Glenn Robinson that I know and have seen play.

We don't need a big three.

Tracy needs the ball in order to be entirely effective and I don't see Big Dog taking to 50% reduction in his FGAs... I mean thats what he had a problem with in Philly a couple years ago (or was it last year) wasn't it?

    No to Big Dog.

I say no too. We need someone who can play decent defense. The last two games we lost, the opposing forward (Odom & A. Walker) essentially took us apart.

Players that will sink a team.

    1. Vin Baker (you dont want this guy at an open bar or team happy hr)
    2. Glen Robinson (Screwed Cassell/Ray Allen out of NBA finals cause he can't play D or shoot a 5 footer against the Sixers)
    3. Juwan (hasnt played on winning teams---Rocket -record? 4-5

As much as I complain about Juwan I hate Glen Robinson, he screwed over Sam and Ray Allen. Also he's like a bad version
    of ANTIONE WALKER!!!

Yes both are ball hogs, but at least walker can rebound and steal the ball. Glen Robinson is useless.

If he was waived I would pick him up if healthy and play him at the 3 with JJ at the 2 and T-Mac at the point.

Big Dog and Ollie for TE, Howard, Lue, Gaines. I'd do it, if only to say 'ta' to Lue-ser of a Point Guard.
