Ok, I only saw like bits and pieces of the 2nd/3rd Q. But I saw a couple times where Rice showed a nice stop and pop from 10 ft and in, where he would fake the 3 pt shot, then drive. If he can give us about 10 pts a night, and just be a consistent 3 pt threat, do you know how much that will help Mobley, Francis, and Ming from getting double teamed?
...i dont see why anyone is surprised... hes glen f***ing rice... getting him for shandon anderson was a steal.... because walt williams plays for the dallas mavericks but...really....hes one of the greatest shooters in NBA history...
Good to see Glen kick some ass after the slightly slow start of Boki. I hope Rice can give 10-12 pts with a meaningful 3 pt threat. Rest will come!!!
rice looked very,very good out there. in fact in limited minutes he hasn't ever looked bad this preseason. i don't think there's any question he can keep it up as long as his knees hold up. he is who he is just a step slower.

Rice didn't look good in preseason last year... everyone was saying how it would take him time to get into "game shape".

I am pleasantly surprised by Rice' good play. I'm pleased as can be. I had no expectations. He looks good and last nite looked consistent. I am holding my breath about his fragile physical staying power. He could go down any moment.... Any points from him is a bonus. he could be a qualified threat if he can hold it together physically. I do not like the cost at 9mil, but he is contributing...
Rice has only missed an entire season once in his career, and that preseason he played horribly because of his foot injury.
Glad to hear Rice is looking good. Of course, when healthy, Rice is probably the best pure shooter in the league. Guy has an awesome shot. Hope he can continue to hit them for us this year.
