Maurice Taylor is making me a believer. Damn this guy is doing what I want him to do. Take it inside, take the smart outside shots when you are feeling it. Go strong inside. Thats what you call a POWER FORWARD. I pumped about mos play, the kid has alot of stuff. I seriously dont want him to get away from this team. Look how much potential he has. The guy needs to play rough every night and he wont be stopped. Everyone give a Hell yeah for Maurice Taylor. Monday will be big against another premiere forward in Rasheed Wallace. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.

When Mo plays a bad game , I will go back to backstabbing the guy. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.

Thats a topic about bashing. This is a topic about maurice taylors strong game he had tonight. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
It is supposed to be about proving the bashers wrong. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
No its not. Its about giving a guy props for a good game. Not every damn thing on this bbs has to be about proving someone wrong. ------------------ The season's halfway over...and I still need that keg of Pepto-Bismol.
First: HELL YEAH!!!! Second: Mo is kicking some serious ass these days, I'm so damn happy about this game that I can't get this damn grin off of my face!!!! : ------------------ Lar
This is how we need Mo to play every game, PHYSICAL. Take it to the hole, get to the foul line. This team is getting hot at the perfect time. The radio had this comment by Mo-"Rudy told me that if I stay down low in the paint more, instead of drifting as much as I usually do, I'll get the ball in a position to score, and lately, it's been working." Offensively, Mo is one of the most gifted power forwards IN THE LEAGUE. Very few have his type of handles, a sweet 18 foot jumper, and are built like a tank (6'9'' 260 lb.). When you put Hakeem next to him, who can cover some of his rebounding and defensive deficiencies as well as keep the other guy off his back, it makes him that much tougher. ------------------ The Serious Police are watching. 6'9" 260 and his coach has to tell him to stay in the paint? Sheeeeeesh ------------------ When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new. This restless craving in the souls of men spurs them to climb, and to seek the mountain view. -- Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Knew the bashing had to come at some point, lol. Well, as a guy personally who has some post moves but a great jumper, I can tell you sometimes it is hard to get in the post. When your jumper is falling consistently from 20 feet, and you are in a groove, and the other team is doubling the big man (Hakeem) in the post-- it can lead to good shots. And when you are getting those types of shots, sometimes you don't think as much about getting into the paint. That is the way the game works. ------------------ "We're not settling for just getting in the playoffs." "We want a higher seed. There's no doubt. Where would we be w/out Mo Taylor? My guess would be at least 5 games under .500, and probably more. He has basically won the past 3 games for us. I can barely even remember when he said he wanted to go to the Magic...all I remember is when he was nearly a Sonic, until the first Ewing trade fell through. He is now passing up my expectations from him at the beginning of the season, which were very high since the only times I had seen him play were vs the Rockets and he always seemed to play well in those games. And I don't remember him hitting the turnaround shots in the lane and hook shots in those games, only jumpshots. If he keeps playing like this i think he could make a strong case for most improved player. ------------------ "Steve is good.
