Leave it alone.....don't mess with your money for a chance at a woman's attention.

Is she the girl on the right?

If not, post her picture so that we can help you better. I'm sure you've already found her on Facebook or somewhere else ;).

Having a girlfriend does not get you a career. Having a career can get you lots of girlfriends. Choose wisely.

Mail her a friendship ring and a recorded message asking her out to dinner

PS - If she declines, make sure to ask for the ring back

Do you really think she just happened to bring her niece to this meeting?

No, she obviously brought her in hopes of hooking you two up.

That being said, you only have a small window of time to take advantage.

Like dada said, you can either go for it and reap the reward or be afraid and lose out

Such cowards, you have to live life, can't be afraid of taking chances.

Ill-Skillz - I ain't scared baby, willing to put myself out there, it is what makes life worth living.

To the OP, just give her a jingle and see what she says, you don't need to be an arse, just be honest.

Maybe she dug you too, if not, who cares, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

And being afraid of losing a job? Come on, most of us will move job to job our whole life, I have been consulting for 4 years now doing turnarounds....now, I am taking a C level job at a game company, can't be afraid of risk, it is how you get rewarded later.....

Wow, Your what Bill Worrell would call cold blooded. The guy is just trying to give his opinion on the sitiuation, just like everybody else. No reason to get personal.

As for the ts. I would find her work email address and pretend like you have a few questions for her about the job. First email should be straight forward with no hint of liking. Then as the emails continue start putting in your personality and see how she replys. If she continues to keep it buisness then i would say it wasn't meant to be. If she's able to talk to you with out a professional tone I would say take the chance.

DD, that's some pretty dumb advice. It's very unprofessional to hit on a client much less the family member of a client. You are representing your company when dealing with the customer. The fraidy cat defense is pretty childish too.

This is exactly what I would do, and what I mean by giving it a go.

Of course you are professional, but come on people, don't be afraid of taking a chance.

Sometimes you just got to go for it.

Woah, I am not saying you just simply whip it out and say ""what do you think baby !"

Be a little more tactful than that, find a reason to call her, start a conversation, see how it goes, if you have any clue at all, it will become fairly clear if she is interested etc....

I am just saying sitting on your hands or rather using them instead of taking the risk is silly.

Life is short, go for it.....

After thinking about it for a while. Depending on the relationship with your client, you could always subtly ask her about her niece. Who knows, she may even try to hook you up with her, if she thinks you are a nice enough guy.

Ultimately, it comes down to what's more important to you. If you feel like risking this particular job for the chance at love is worth it, then go for it....but tread carefully. There are a million scenarios where that could lead to you losing your job....whether she digs you or not. If you really like your job, and feel like a future at this company is what you want, then I would stay away.
