Does anyone know how I can convert gift cards into cash?? Is there a particular website by any chance??
Just curious, how do buyers on ebay know for sure that the cards they are buying are in fact legit? I know that the place where I work has been scammed by people using fake credit cards, and those gift cards are later cancelled when the charge fails to go through. I'm almost certain the scammers still try to sell the GCs over ebay or other similar services...
Buy it from someone who has a good user rating/feedback. Also sell try craigslist. That way the buyer/seller can meet at store at which the GC belongs and confirm card is legit.

i have the freakonomics day calendar and the last few days have been talking about how much money the businesses make off of unused gift cards. for example, best buy recently reported $43 million in profit from gift-cards that were paid for, but never used.
