All game talk goes in here. Please do not give play by play. If you need play by play go to CBS, ESPN, or Yahoo.

    Pitching Proabables:

5-12 TBA vs. Andy Pettitte (2-3, 3.33) 7:05 on FSHD

    5-13 Brett Tomko (3-4, 4.15) vs. Ezequiel Astacio (0-1, 9.82) 7:05 on FSHD

Pitching Matchups have not been released for the last 2 games in the series. I will update this when I get the information.

The Astros have historically raked in PacBell park.

Astros have never won a series at MMP against the Giants. S.O.S.

No Barry Bonds, Jason Schmidt or Armando Benetez. The Giants are without their power source, ace starting pitcher, and closer.

It wouldn't matter if they played on the Moon. This team is horrible.

Lets hope Phil put the Astros best lineup with Palmerio and Vizcanio instead of Taveras, Everett. They both are good CONTACT hitters and maybe put Todd Self in.

I doubt Palmerio, Viz, and Self are going to turn this team around. Let's go with the young guys and let them develop.

Even Lidge is pitching poorly these days. Anything goes I guess with the Astros, Ashos, Lastros, bleh.

Well, another loss. Since the Astros stink this year we might as well strive to be the worse team in baseball. The chase is on....

    1. Kansas City 8-26
    2. Colorado 9-22
    3. Houston 12-22

Another lose is another win in my book. We can do it!!

FSN Houston just said Phil Garner called a team meeting right after the game and thats why he is late to his press confrence. This team is plain horrible and he really can't do anything. Jason Lane and Wily Tavaras swing at every pitch and the team defense is horrible.

If Bagwell retires at the end of the year I expect Drayton to go on an offensive shopping spree. Im not sure who the big free agents are but hopefully Drayton will make a run at atleast 2 or 3 of them to help the offense.

I'm pretty sure Bags will still be owed the money whether he retires or not, the beauty of guaranteed contracts.

If he retired, he'd get nothing. He would be voluntarily ending his contract. If he goes on the DL though for the year, he'd get full value. So no, barring a buyout, Bags would be stupid to just retire flat out.

Well, the Astros dumped Kevin Duckworthless, so at least SOMETHING positive came out of today...

Exactly, what's the dude supposed to do? He doesn't have much to work with.

Glad to hear Ducky is gone. What ever happened to Wheeler, is he gone?
