As every Wizard's game passes, I grow more and more disgusted by how all these commentators are ALL OVER HIS NUTS!!! Example: Jordan hits any ordinary turn around jumper. Announcer: "OOHHHHH!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT SHOT BY MICHAEL JORDAN?!!?!??!?!" Jordan does a soft dunk. Announcer: "OOOOHHH!!!! MY GOODNESS, DID YOU SEE THAT?!?!?! MICHAEL JORDAN JUST SLAMMED THAT HOME!!!!! I'M SPEECHLESS!!!!!" Ok maybe I'm exaggerating a tad bit, but I'm not too far off. Go to nba.com, and check out the "E.pipany of the Day: MJ's 31." Anyone else think that these announcers are a liiiiiiittle bit exaggerative?
I imagine Les Alexander would be "on his nuts" too, if he had the chance, seeing as how Jordan is actually going to put some people in the Compaq Center...now THAT'S impressive.
I've noticed this too. The one that annoyed me most was everyone talking about how great he played against the hawks because he had 31 points, when even he was willing to admit he didn't shoot well (only 13-30). If Jerry Stackhouse, for example, took 30 shots to score only 31 points, the media would be calling him a selfish ballhog and talking about how basketball is a team sport.
I dont know about you all, but I love the way Sportscenter and all other nightly sports shows show shot by shot analysis of the great Michael Jordan. I mean everyone wants to see Jordans shot chart rite? Everyone wants to know exactly where he missed and made all his shots from rite? And the news conferences after every game! I MEAN OH MY GOD!!!!! My life would not be complete if I didnt watch Michael God Jordan talk about his love for the game and what he was able to do in that particular game.
Hes the best player of all time. He probably is getting a little media attention but who cares, I rather here about him than College Football, NFL, Yankkes cheating in series, Lemuix injured, Capriati losing #1, Andre has a Boy.
