There does appear to be a void in veteran leadership especially since Willis and Walt will likely both be gone and Rice will be in street clothes again Oakley's 39 and I would think the Rocks would target someone younger... sort of like a Kevin Willis of 4 or 5 years ago.
You know, Griffin used to have a problem with punching people out. I don't think he needs Oakley to come in and show him his veteran skills in collecting gambling debts.
oakley would have been a nice fit a couple years ago but his talent is all but gone now. any leadership that he would give now, i don't think we really need. we're supposed to be stacked with big men coaches, let's get some models for steve and cat.
