Has the Rockets organization sunk so low that it has to resort to
Greg Brady to distract people from the very real possibility of losing 20 games in a row? Does anybody actually plan to go to this game??? I'm almost ashamed to be a Rockets fan. Sad. Very Sad.

It's one thing to be human, another to be slow.

Yeah times are tough right now. Go jump on the Seattle bandwagon with ZRB if you want. Rockets are my team, losing badly or no.

Hey, I'm still here. I'm still cheering for the Rockets, as much as it hurts. I've tried everything, but I can't stop caring about the bloody bastards in pinstripes! Go Rockets!

My dad asked me the other day, "Are you still watching those damn Rockets?", and I told him like it is. I'll always watch the Rockets, win or lose.

A true Rockets fan will stay glued to the chair even if they are losing to the Bulls and down by 35 points. I love watching the Rockets play, and I always have that hope that they will comeback!

They actually did a night similar to this last season. It was apparently very popular.

I was at that game last year...

It was the Dating Game night, they had that dude that used to host the show. The halftime show wasn't that bad...

I still watch Rocket games. Anybody does that out of their own volition these days HAS to be a true Rockets fan. Most fair weather fans gave up on this teams several years ago. My problem is not with the team, it is with the administration. I think Get Groovy night is just plain ol' dorky, that's all. What angers me even more are the bad personnel decisions made by the front office over the past few years. (Maloney, Cato, etc.) If I wasn't a Rockets fan I wouldn't even pay attention right now. Indifference characterizes fair weather fans. They don't care enough to complain when things go sour. I do.

One person's dorky is another's party. It is rather ironic that people who frequent an internet bulletin board would call something dorky! :)

As for personnel moves, the Rockets also managed the Francis deal, drafted Mobley, drafted KT, nabbed Eddie Griffin, found Moochie in the CBA, signed Mo Taylor to a one-year $2.25 million deal, signed Shandon Anderson to the same, dug up Tierre Brown, found Oscar Torres in South America...on and on.

It's all in how you look at it. Cato's contract is a stinker but every team has one or two bad contracts on their roster.
