[Games] Risk

Love me some risk. Even bigger fan of Axis and Allies. I saw a couple of years back a site that brings some of these board games online gametableonline.com I think it is.

My computer was too old to run their Axis and Allies, though.

 

i got it to work now, but i used my personal email and i'm at work. when i get home i'll finish registering and join any games you guys have going on

 

finally tried it on firefox and it worked just fine. I think the site might have trouble with Chrome

OK, so how long does it usually take to complete an entire game in real life?

I always thought about buying this for home play for game night... I think we've grown out of some we usually play at home.

I don't know the rules or the game. Sounds like strategic and analytic thinking.

The EA risk app is good on the iPad.

 

the reviews weren't very good, but everyone on the internet hates on EA. i don't like how they have ads for a paid for game though

 

Sounds good. Maybe some Catan as well.

 

Catan is great! They have a good ipad app too.

 

can somebody explain what catan is to me so that I could possibly partake. Currently I don't have an internship and I'm home from UT so it's gonna be a looong summer

 

Catan is a strategy game simulating settlement of an imaginary island/continent/country. Turn based, cards, piece for towns, cities, and roads. The board is pseudo randomized for replay ability. It's pretty simple and easy to learn, but very fun.
