Just a really bad joke. I have never paid to watch a summer league game at Fonde. But alot of the workers there do deserve a donation to the Parks & Recreation Department for all that they do for the inner city youth of Houston, Texas.
What band were you in? My man Ryan Chavez used to book a lot of those shows there. I was at a lot of them too. I remember seeing the Farewell Bend a couple times there. I lived at the APV too. Wow, first Mike from Eye Against and now another punk rock kid. You guys better watch out. Apparently punk rockers are taking over a sports message board.
Game Results - Week Two Monday July 19, 2004 First Game Fonde All-Stars continued their winning ways by defeating Casey's team 60-58. Fonde, with NBA player Moochie Norris of the New York Knicks, produced a bump and grind effort that led to victory in a nip and tuck game. Second Game The DBG's remained win-less at the hands of Black's team with a final score of 89-84. Rashard Lewis posted 26 points for Black's team and Chris Gatlin scored 21 for the DBG's. Despite the clutch 3-point shooting of Chris Gatlin in the waning seconds of the game it was no match for Rashard Lewis's dominance in the paint assisted by the mid-range shooting of the White twins and streaking moves to the basket by LSU's Tack Minor and Rice University's Brock Gillespie. Third Game The 504 Boyz lost to the Chairman 94-79. The Chairman's Moses Malone Jr. and Gee Gervin (the sons of Hall-Of-Famers) produced 16 and 12 points respectively while Antwon Walton led all scorers with 27 points. Rod Neely put up 23 points for the 504 Boyz. http://procityhouston.com/Game Results - Week Two.htm
