It's sickening to have see China's two NBA players only attempt 8 shots between them. Even Shandon Anderson shoots more than that. China's coach must be the worst coach in the world. I am suprised he hasn't be brought up on charges for crimes against "the game of basketball".
China played their nba stars sooooo unique !!!!!!! Yao and Bateer combined 8 shots but collected 22 points. Image they each attempted 10 shots!
The bad thing is there is nothing we can do about it. This guy supposedly spent a year studying NBA coaching. It seems like the only thing he was studying was the poses of NBA coaches on the sidelines. You would think that get the ball to your best player is universal, but this guy is unbelievable.
Do you see why Wang wanted to stay in the U.S. This was probably happening to him too, so he figured he wasn't getting any better just taking up space, so why not stay in the U.S and get REAL basketball leagues and learn something constructive. China Team found two new point guards from this game: Yao ming and Bateer. They ranked 1st and 2nd in assists!!!! what a joke!!!
Yes, Wang knew this coach very well. He made a very good decision to stay away from him. Yao MIng has to suffer two more months,...I hope he can be better than Bradley after that.
It's unbelievable.The guards and the coaching is horrible. Yao needs the Rockets to coach him now.Unfortunately he won't be available until after the Asian Games.
I didn't see it directly referenced to above so. Game stats at the end for Yao were: 11 points, 8 rebs, 4 assist, don't know how many blocks.
I think it's a conspiracy. The China NT coach and the Rox org are in cahoots. They don't wang Yao to get hurt or to bring too much attention to him so he can' have it a little easier this season.
BTW this is Communist ball. No one player can stand out, so naturally the whole team has to score the same amount before a new par can be set
