Even though I said who cares. I still gotta tip my hat to the Cardinals, their fans and even Busch stadium. They are a great team and a worthy adversary. On Monday they reminded us of that great Houston dictum.

They have great fans and I remember last year watching game 7 with a bunch of them at a Sports bar here in MN and all of them at the game congratulated me and the Stros on a great season and a great series and I'm sure they would do the same this year. Out of all of those concrete doughnuts built in the 60's and 70's I always liked Busch stadium and its got a lot of great baseball memories.

So I tip my hat to the Cards as a great foe and for a great series and now its time for the World Series.

After noticing how Roy O barely reacted at the end of Game 5 and how dominant he was tonight, you have to wonder if he wanted to pitch again so he could be the one to close down Busch.

ROY O came up hugeand the offense did what it needed to. World Series here we come.
