Interstate love song is a great song to play. That was the first song I downloaded off of the marketplace, its an all time fav for me.

I think you can only purchase things on the marketplace through xbox live points but i am not sure I've only purchased things that way I dont remember seeing a place to put in credit card info I could be wrong though.

I bought Roxanne as well but that is a bore to play but a blast to sing.

I dont think champagne supernova would be a good song to play (its a great song though dont get me wrong) but it seems way to slow of a song to play and long as well.

Still waiting for My name is Jonas to be released, how hard could it be they already have the guitar/bass grooves already from GH3

I never payed attention much to the drums in Interstate Love Song, but I know the vocals, guitar and bass will all be a lot of fun to play.

You may be right about Champagne Supernova. I just always liked that song by Oasis and would have liked to sing it.

And songs being on GH3 doesn't help Rock Band much since they are different companies. It would still represent as much work to finish that song as any other song on Rock Band.

I want to see more Primus, though.

I thought both bands were made by Harmonix thats why there are several songs that are on GH3 that are on rockband (Mississippi Queen, Sabatoge, Paranoid etc) I know EA was involved in rockband but I dont think they were in GH3. I can still hope for My Name is Jonas probably my favorite song on GH3 just cuz i like singing to it.

either way my friend was telling me that he was reading in one of the gaming magazine that they are hoping to have over 200 songs for rockband by the end of the year via download and that they were going to be releasing more metallica songs. Imagine playing For Whom the Bells Tolls

its just a matter of time until someone tries to make a hip-hop version with a turntable and a beat box. (and not that guy who made a that semi-scratcher for GH3)

    Drums are sooo ****ing amazing.

I need to move up in difficulty, but damn it's ****ing fun playing like 80 notes in a row, then rocking out on the Overdrive part, then settling back down into the regular notes.

I'm a little sketchy on the details, but as a I remember it, Harmonix was the group that made Guitar Hero 1 & 2, but they split off from Red Octane and didn't have Guitar Hero rights. So that was why Guitar Hero 3 was so different from the first two (with boss battles and the cool Star Power animations absent). It was made by a completely different group of people. The Harmonix folks left and made Rock Band. It is merely coincidence, I think, that there are 5 or so songs that are on both games.

Anyone besides me rig a mike stand, create 2 players and sing and play guitar at the same time? If I could just get my wife to play drums then I'd take the band on the road. My 5 and 7 year olds just can't drum quite enough to stay in the game even if I keep bringin them back.

I'd just like to thank Miglorious for making a soundtrack for me so I can memorize all the words and pitches of every song. I won't let the band down, guys. I'm giving up my diva ways.

Oh yeah, **** that OK Go song.

I can't stand trying to sing either Maps, or that Paranoid song by Garbage. I mean, you already feel like a douche singing a female track as a guy, but the songs are so damn pansified on top of that. I probably would have no problems singing a Heart song and not being ashamed.

We use Mig's PS3 headset instead of the mic because for some reason the mic was saying I was messy all the time. Failed Creep with it but when I used the headset I got 97%. Only thing is, it lags a LITTLE. So in fast songs like the OK Go one it's soooo confusing and it sounds like i'm off.
