[GAME] Madden '09

Not at all...I thought it was a replay so I didn't move and Schaub ended up fumbling.

Does the Wii version of Madden suck? You never really hear anything about it.

 

No. Madden is fun because of its intricacies, Wii is fun because of its simplicacies. New word.

 

I am hesitant in buying this game because of all the the bad reviews, plus 08 was worst then 07.

Does anyone know if you can play multiplayer online meaning me and a friend on one PS3 console vs anybody on the ps3 network?

 

Finally got in my first game. It was fun, the CPU went all out with Peterson. He even ran like himself. There was actually a pass rush. I love all the little nuances like being able to sub at the playcall screen. I skipped the IQ test BTW, I hear thats the way to go.

 

08 was worse than 07???? Definitely not.

What reviews have said 09 is not good? Ive heard its the best football game ever made. And it plays like it too.

 

Gamespot gave '08 an 8.5 and '09 an 8.0. Sounds like a slight regression to me.

 

Still reading gamespot? Thats like dropping BBC news for Fox.

Regardless, the vast majority of online reviews have given Madden a good score. Game play and visuals are much, much better than last years Madden...and I loved Madden 08.

The deep bomb is not as easy to pull off, there are far less fumbles, the "busting through the line with 3 linemen" is no longer there, etc.... In other words, its the best translation of real NFL onto a gaming console. And the graphics/animations? It craps on last year.

 

I suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I was much better at 08.
