I live on gulf just south of Houston, and I catch blue crabs out in front of my house. I'll empty my traps every couple of days, and my ritual is to pick crab meat (which is a pain in the ass) during Rockets games. Of course, I eat a little as I go along. And of course, I drink some coldbeer while I'm working.

I'm in total agreement on the pizza (Pizza Hut thin crust is my pie of choice). However, I'd have to take Coca-Cola over Sprite -- a little more bang for the buck [IMG]

hmm, for me-- anything really is good. I don't really have a ritualistic food b/c i only catch games on occasion..going to 2 schools outta houston for 6 years kinda does that. I hate those times, when there are dinner occasions you have to go to, and you have to miss a game you coulda caught. I will however be skipping a floor dinner to catch the preseason game... my excuse? that i'm meeting with my classmates at that time... riiiiiiight...

Nothing like a homemade couple of hot dogs made healthy style. I make a hot dog with a slice of whole grain bread and a turkey frank, a few tablespoons of hot dog chili, some onion, and a sprinkle of cheese. For the other dog, same bread and frank, sweet relish, mustard, and topped with some good ole homemade cole slaw made with natural spices and pre-shredded cabbage. Low on fat, low on calories, and it tastes better than the crap you buy at the game.

I also recommend lifting weights during Rocket games. If your like me, you get pumped up when we play well or pissed off when we play poorly. It makes for great weight lifting attitude. Plus, since my weight machine is near the TV...I can watch and lift at the same time.

Now, I'm going to buy a portable, slam goal to play on during half times. Ah...what a life! NBA...it be fantastic!

    Hey Surf:

Just a guess here, but you are not married, are you? And if you are, how did you get your wife to let you have your weight machine near the TV? Mine has been banished to the garage, and alas, I have no TV out there....yet!
