We are down 1 run, with 4 innings to play, with a 3-1 series lead.

 

If we're going to say that Oswalt beat the Cardinals in game 2... we're going to have to say that Carpenter is beating us right now. The Cards fans all said that they choked against Roy also, but we know that the guy just threw his best game out there.

Same thing has to be said tonight... besides Morgan and Everett, our guys are swinging at good pitches... they're just too good right now.

 

what worries me though is we've done this all series

and our batting really really worries me for games in st. louis with their home crowd behind them and a shaky clemens to pitch game 7 if roy can't shut them down.
