This. It might take more like a year though. Been waiting for Dishonored to drop their price for months now... and they still haven't!
This is one of those games that I will probably have to wait for awhile to play. My PC is older and won't be able to do this game any justice.
I got a pretty decent set up. GTX 550ti video card. I want to upgrade to a 670 but I'd need to upgrade my PSU. I have a 550w right now, Figured atleast a 750w Gold or greater. Can Anyone help me on this?
16gb ram. i5 3570k processor. IDK my motherboard. 1 SSD, 1HDD, 1 DVDR, 3 fans(IDK size) 550w is not certified. Anyone can confirm if I need to upgrade size of PSU or not?
This is one of those epic games i'll wait a couple of years to get used for cheap -- it really looks awesome though.
The commercials are CGI and not actual gameplay. So no, it doesn't look THAT good. Go watch the reviews on IGN or Gametrailers to see what the gameplay footage looks like.
Just traded in some old xbox games at gamestop that I never play, ended up getting Infinite for only 28$. Installing now pumped to play it. Built a new gaming PC a year ago, but a lot of the games that have come out recently have been disappointments, hopefully this one is different.
I have a 600w and I have a GTX670...it more than handles it fine. The 550ti consumes 116w The 670 consumes 170w If you have +100w to spare you should be okay.
I am just afraid to get a 670 and it not be enough. I did a psu calc and it said something like 471 with the 670 in there. I just find it hard to believe
I basically have something similar to your rig with a few moar hard drives and and draw at full load around 520ish so its not hard to believe.
No multiplayer doesn't bother me at all. It's replay value. I loved Tomb Raider and could see myself playing it again. Infinite I'm not so sure. I loved the first but have no desire to go back to Rapture. I thought about maybe getting it at a Redbox, if I could even find it...or just wait till it comes down in price. This month has been killer for games though. Tomb Raider, Bioshock and Gears.
