I liked the quote by Chicago Bulls coach last night in the <a href="http://www.suntimes.com/output/bulls/bul15.html">Chicago Sun-Times article:</a> <OL>"It was a real basic inability to defend one-on-one that caused us problems all night," Bulls coach Tim Floyd said. "They're very talented and really exposed our inability to stay between the guy and the basket. "We have got to get better defending guards one-on-one. That is so important in this league. They not only may have the most underrated backcourt in the league, but it may be the best overall." [/list=a] ... gaining respect. ------------------ the more I know, the more I know I don't know...
That sounds great and all, but I still don't like the fact that we are relying so much on our one-on-one game to help us win. Individual play will only get us so far. Team play will get us back into the Finals. ------------------ Only in America....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
Floyd is going out on a limb to directly criticize his players. Not that it's false, El-Amin, Mercer, and Crawford are expected to havea tough time with Francis and Mobes. ------------------ "There are two players carrying the Rockets right now. Hakeem and Olajuwon." Isiah Thomas
Mercer, 4 years in the league, 4 different teams. He just doesn't play any defense. He's not scoring this year either. Like Steve Miller said: "Oh, take the money and run, yeah...yeah...yeah" ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
Playing the bull's makes everything better. ------------------ Walt Williams is great atheistalliance.org
Well he better start scoring because he's my friggin SG!!! ------------------ Only in America....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
