If the Suns win tonight and make the playoffs, my hats off to them, because the way that they played down the stretch, they deserved it. I still want the Rockets to make the playoffs and do their best against the Spurs, but most of us Rocket fans agree that we'll be LUCKY to win one game against them and most likely a sweep. My main reason that I want the Rockets in the playoffs is for Yao Ming to get some experience on what its like being their in the U.S. That'll make him stronger during the off-season.

But if the Suns make it, I think they put fear into the Spurs. Somehow they just matchup well with them and their the only team which is WINNING the season series in the west against them. I can't remember the last time the Spurs won a season series over the suns and the Suns did beat the Spurs two years ago in the playoffs. Tim Duncan did play Game 4 of that series, though he wasn't 100%. I think they use the 3 guard lineup against the Spurs and they use that advantage over the Spurs' smaller guards and forces the Spurs to play a running game which the Suns beat them in transistion.

So while it'll be nice to taste the playoffs for the first time in the new millennium, I think the Suns matches up much better with them. It wouldn't surprise me or (any of us probably) that the Spurs sweep the series because they're on a hot streak and the Suns just loss to the better team. But I think the series should the two teams meet goes at least six and maybe seven. Somehow I think the Suns have a better chance at this team than the Lakers. Just my point.

So to sum up, you wouldn't be surprised if a)the Spurs sweep the series b) Spurs win in 6 or 7 or c) the Suns win the series.

    Genius.

Francis vs Parker. Even. Sometimes one is better...sometimes the other
Mobley vs Jackson. Even. Sometimes one is better...sometimes the other
Posey vs Bowen. Even. Sometimes one is better...sometimes the other
    Griffin vs Duncan. ;)
Yao vs Robinson. Even. Sometimes one is better...sometimes the other
Moochie and Moochie vs Claxton and Ginobili and Smith and Kerr and whoever. ;)
    Rice vs whoever. Even...
Mo Taylor and Kelvin Cato vs Malik Rose and Kevin Willis. This is a close one. :)

Marbury vs. Parker. Starbury owns Tony.
Joe Johnson and Anfernee Hardaway vs. Stephen Jackson and Manu Ginobili and Steve Smith. Even. Hardaway is still a vet and actually plays. Johnson and Ginobili both can shoot. Manu is more valuable. Jackson is good too.
Marion vs. Bowen. Marion is of course a star. Bowen is just defense. But Bowen is a good role player. Obviously...Marion is better.
Amare vs. Duncan. Well...of course. MVP. Duncan is too good. But Amare may still do all right. At least a decent job. He would do better than Eddie Griffin.
Tsakalidis vs. Robinson. Robinson is just a bit better and more important.
BENCH. Suns have Hardaway and BO OUTLAW. Outlaw is a great player. I love him. Uhhh...Spurs are deep too.

Suns match up better against Spurs than us. BUT...I hope the Rockets make it. Just watch tonight's game.

I leave the options open because it depends on which Suns' team shows up. They play inconsistent, but steps it up against the top teams in the west. Of course if the Suns don't play their best, they'll probably get swept. But if and probably when the two teams meet in the playoffs, I'll predict it'll go at least six.

So there. I made a prediction.:)

Spurs would sweep Phx. Phx has no inside scoring threat (Stoudemire isn't a go-to guy).

This is my feeling, and it appears that 'it is over'.
