Really good article on our two stars and the team. Some interesting info in there and some reasons to think this season can and should get even better.

Still can't believe we have these guys.

It's more Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones making the perfect fit with the Rockets. They are quite a couple in the paint.

DMo also makes a good pair with Howard or Jones. There's no need for Asik if he continues to play as now. But maybe in the playoffs.

    Brothers. Family.

That's the gushiest thing I've ever heard from Harden. It's great news. Thanks OP and thanks Friedman.

The specificity of Howard would like to make Harden's job easier
had me more pumped up than any trade rumor.

    Awesome article.

Actually, a motivated Asik would be an ideal fit with the 3 post players we have.

To be quite honest, one of the reasons I became a Houston Rox fan is that the team's franchise guys always seem to have a lot of class. They may be flawed at time but all the way from Hakeem and Clyde to Francis to Tmac and Yao the Rox leaders have always been guys who don't mind sharing the ball and seeing their teammates succeed.

Unlike other duos like Shaq/Kobe or KG/Marbury or Billups/AI/Lin?/Melo, I'm happy to see DH and JH continue the tradition of avoiding drama in the locker room and working together for a common goal. For someone who seems to be a stats guy DM sure does a good job of not getting cancerous people on the team...except of course rookie pick headcases like White lol.

Lin and Melo? Lin has done nothing to Melo except playing with all his health to help the Knicks win games and thus stepping on Melo's by taking some of his limelight.
