It may be premature, but I have a feeling that this is what is going to hurt us in the playoffs. The playoffs are a lot more physical, and we will be at the line much more often. Today's game the Rockets were 13/26. They should be at least 20/26 to be in good shape. That is a 7 point difference! 7 points is the difference between a win and a loss.

Its puzzling to me how both Scola and Landry seem to have a pretty good shot, yet be so bad at free throws.

Our starting lineup free throw %

    Alston: 65.9
    Mcgrady: 69.3
    Scola: 63.4
    Battier: 72.7
    Motumbo: 77.8

    Bench:
    Landry: 64.5
    Hayes: 42.9
    Jackson: 66.7
    Head: 81.0

These playoffs games will be decided by 1 or 2 points and I'm really worried these free throws will cost us some games.

It is a concern. The 13-26 line tonight is a little skewed due to garbage time and guys like Williams shooting free throws. But Shane and T-Mac each bricked a technical foul shot tonight. That can't happen when you're at home.

Our FT concern will go up in the playoffs. For now, I don't care.

5-10 so far at the half. Why would you only concern your major problems then? Why not be concerned about them now? You can't fix free throw problems overnight. By the time the playoffs come, it will be too late.

This reminds me of some noob who said that he was concerned how we only got to the line 10 times during one game. FTs are simply one of our team concerns that we need to address. It really says something bad about our team's free throw shooting when BATTIER is the one to shoot a technical.

    ...Hmm.

PG/SG is usually a team's strength when it comes to free throws...Rockets don't seem to have that.

Funny as it is, our two centers Yao (85%) and Dikembe (lolz?) are shooting better from the stripe then Rafer and Mac.

    Tracy-69.8%
    Rafer-65.6%
    Yao-85.0%
    Dikembe-77.8%

...Deke is one of our best FT shooters XD
