okay im on the aege server now.. look for Still_Blazed.. does anyone know how to do that magic stuff? and use that MP? anyway this game got me hooked...
If you open your the skills window by pressing 's' there are tabs for weapons and magic, under the weapons there are tabs for swords, staffs, and bows, and under magic there is cold, fire, lightning, and force. Assign your skill points to any of those and you'll have new abilities. Me and my brother were playing last night and got some PVP capes and started killing each other, then went a picked a fight with some high level player and got owned.
Cool. The game really is addicting. I find myself looking forward to playing it. like ludacris said press S for skills. Then as you get Exp. Level them up till you can add them as a an action. Then put them on the bottom bar on the screen for quick access. I'm giong online to play right now. My name is the same as my moniker.
Is it a smart idea to abort objectives/missions or whatever.. I can't seem to find this guy at the south gate, actually I dont even know where the south gate is.. Ah, the joy of being a noob.

How do you whisper to someone in the game? Is there any way to have an alert when someone comes online?
Press U. Then select the Friend tab. IF the little computer next to their name is lite up, then they are online. The the screen on that little computer is dark then they aren't online. I think it does a doorbell kind of sound when a friend logs in and out. That's how you whisper too. You just click ontheir name and click onthe whisper button. Or, if you saw them chatting in the chat box. Just click on their name in the chat box. then type what you want to say and it'll be a whisper. You can also mess with the tabs. There's a tab to show the list of people you whisper with so you can switch back and forth.
okay so im level 12 now... took long as hell to get to this point... figured out how to do the magic(fire) etc etc... but i still dont get the point of the game... ive just been developing my character with skills and items.. stocking up in 'experience' and 'skill' points.. i've been lurking around the 'tombs' killing the lion ghosts and tombstone ghosts... i went over the bridge once and killed the trees but got ganged up by the archers and died... some guy asked to 'exchange quests'... what is a 'quest'? is that the mission? also how do u summon a horse once u got one of those red horse scrolls? this game got way too addicting for a hot minute... im probably going to chill on this for atleast a week since im going out of town anyways... ps uprising i saw u on yesterday.. look for Still_Blazed
You are at lvl 12 and haven't done any quests? lol. Damn. Press Q to bring up the quest menu. The first 5 quests or so are going to be sooo easy for you beause you are so advanced. The first guy you need to meet is General Sonheyeon. It says he is by the south gate. That's a bad transaltion. He is in front of the building that is to the left of the Hunters guild. Right next to the west gate. Talk to him, you get a quest from him. Talk to every NPC in the Jangan town. Most have quests for you. you get new quests when you level up. I'll join and see if you are there.
Oh well, level 3 archer and out of arrows. Been out killing strawmen. (Livin out my Debate & Disc. fantasies.
fizizm is the account name.. Ismail is my character's name. I found General whats his face at the south-gate, and I am finally getting the hang of this game, it's pretty good actaully. Level 3 spearmen, but I am having trouble using magic, which is something I wanted to own at. Games definitely worth downloading though, it can lag at times, but thats only when your with all the afks sitting and healing.
this game slows my computer down. oh well. ill still play. i just got killed majorly. let me restart this beesh again.
What's an NPC? I had quit the game after I talked to the General for the 2nd time becuase I had a basic understanding of what I had to do, but I hope to start playing again around 915ish. But I've heard NPC being used many times, but I am guessing it's an acronym of some sort? Thanks for suggesting the game, it kicks ass.
Someone got me playing Maple Story last month. Eventually I knew why it was free. There's no point in playing MMORPGs... It's like reading a book with no beginning or end. If you ever wonder why high lvl people show off their new skills to newbies it's because when they're lvling up, the skills aren't that powerful.

Man reading all these guides has made me want to shy away from my BOW/ICE character . I'm gonna keep at it even though she seems pretty weak.
