This will sound strange, but I think he needs to shoot more. There were several times tonight that he passed up a lay-up to set up Rice. I think that's ridiculous.

Also, for being a "superstar," he needs to get more calls. He hit the deck a couple times and there were no calls.

Francis is #5 in number of free throws attempted. Apparently he is getting superstar calls. The refs have bailed him out of many silly drives.

I agree that there are times he's 2 feet away from the basket and he launches a pass cross-court for an open brick by ___________.

He also misses quite a few layups.

Francis is playing within the framework of the offense. To say he shoots too much or too little is to not understand the game. SF himself probably doesn't know how many shots he's taking.

The problem is the offensive scheme. Some games , CM will shoot more and in others it's YM or whoever. It doesn't matter as long as the offense as a whole is clicking under a system with a vision. This vision takes time to build , it doesn't happen simply b/c we got a a bunch of talented players.

BTW, clutch cut me out of the trade yao ming thread for no reason. I couldn't even get my response in. This is blatant censorship.

Money wise, it does not make sense to trade Yao.

He makes 4mil/yr, but he brought in the beer advertisement for 1mi/yr. So his net cost is only 3mil/yr. Plus, he will help Rox with so much other advertisement, jersey sales, the new Asia market, the ticket sales. Nobody is watching Jamison. You are never going to get equal value for Yao, and you are going to lose so much money by trading him. Won't you laugh yourself now ?

Just finished reading sillywilly's "Trade Yao" thread, in which he failed to answer any of the pertinent questions that were asked. In particular, he had zero response when DoD pointed out that by his line of reasoning, we should have traded Dream, who of course would go on to bring Houston our only two professional sports championships.

Agree that he is a dumbass. He is a blatant, relentless, megalomaniacal instigator and should be permanently banned.

    That is all.

I agree he do need to shoot more; but he's always trying to get his team mates involved, even when there missing every damn shot.

the knicks game in particular, steve should have just gone out for 40+ however it might be beneficial for him and the team in the long run if he continues to involve other people first. also with the team shooting so bad why not get nachbar in for more minutes and see what happens.
