Steve was traded away because we needed a fresh start. Tmac wanted out of Orlando, and he too wanted a fresh start. People in Orlando and the Magic management said Tmac was selfish and a quitter. He proved them wrong, he proved that this was one of the most lopsided trades in NBA history. Steve was the selfish one, Steve was the cancer on all those other teams (Knicks, etc) that didn't want him.

The Rockets had Tmac and Yao, there was no controversy, the city of Houston adopted Tmac as one of their own, put him on a pedestal similar to Dream and gave him the keys to the city. Two unfortunate first round exits, where we were clearly the better team in each one, we needed better coaching to put us over the hump. Tmac and Yao became good friends, this team had no controversy, everything was running smooth. We got a new coach and were well on our way to becoming the best in the west.

And then these IDIOTS bring Steve back to the team and screw everything up. How do you think Tmac feels when these moronic fans are chanting for Steve when this is HIS team and HIS city? How do you think he feels when Steve and Yao develop a friendship that appear to be stronger than he and Yao, and he becomes a 3rd wheel? How do you think he feels when you have some black eddie munster looking "AM radio analyst" who can't keep his dick in his pants (Calvin Murphy) saying that Francis should be starting in place of Tmac and is better than Tmac? And then you have all these selfish YOF who bash tmac every chance they get because they want this to be YAO's team.

If I were Tmac I would be furious and would not want to play hard for this organization. Brining back Steve was a slap to Tmac's face. GET STEVE FRANCIS OUTTA HERE!!!

I DESPISE Francis's game as much as anyone but come on.

Francis has been banished to the bench most of the year. It's not his fault.

I think Francis has an agenda against Tmac. I think he is still pissed that he was traded and wants to prove that he's the better player. I never see those two talking or acting friendly towards each other. Do you guys see it? Our chemistry has been ruined whether Steve plays or not, he's still there, looming.

WAH WAH WAH. "Steve gets so much love in Houston that T-Mac and Yao is jealous." Oh shut up, these guys aren't in high school. This is not a popularity contest. These guys are professional basketball players. This isn't all because of one player, this is a team problem. Yao, T-Mac, Skip, Francis, James, Scola, Bonzi, Deke, Hayes, Head, Rick Adelman. They're all in this together.

Woa you actually defended Francis on this one, i'm shocked. To the original poster, how is francis to blame for all you described above, which he has no control over since he joined the rockets? If anything, Tmac needs to chill.

Seriously, this is one of the worst assessments of Rockets basketball I have ever read! Look, blame the new system, the new roster, or anything else but how can you honestly say that Francis is the reason that we lost against Philadelphia. You do realize that he did take part in our win against Phoenix?
Weak thread that should be obliterated by Clutch.
