I figured you'd be doing cartwheels if Steve missed the game against Dallas...

hahaha.. tell you the truth.. I like Stevie. I bash on him a bit because I see SO MUCH potential in him and think its gone wasted. If the guy had no talent like Collier, I would not say a word. Stevie is probably the most athletically gifted PG in the league and otherwise than mental elements of the game, he is pretty solid. Unfortunately for us Rox fans, the athletic and potential part of a player isnt worth squat if you dont have the mental side down. I just wish he could learn how to play under control and lead this team.

The last 5 minutes of Suns-Rockets game was scary... Can Cat and Moochiee assure the 8-second develiery?

yeah.. moochie's dribbling scares me. pretty scary statement considering he is a PG.

I remember a play a few games ago when he was dribbling up court by himself with no pressure and he fumbled it out of bounds. but i actually like moochie. he seems to try very hard and can be a energizer type player off the bench.

However, it was Moochie that had the offense humming last night...with Francis in the game, the offense is a stand around and watch deal, with Mooch at least he involves everyone.

yeah.. that was probably the best game moochie played this year. as i said, i like his style.

i consider him an overachiever type. the guy cant go right at all and there is not one part of his game that is great. not a great dribbler, passer, shooter etc. but he plays with heart and thats what we need now.

It could be that Moochie had the offense flowing, or it could be the fact that Rice, Mo, and Griffin actually started hitting shots. The offense was doing pretty good against Utah last week in Utah, and there's no way on this planet I'm going to say this team is better with Moochie then Francis. It's the flavor of the month, a role player steps up people want to say he is better the none of our starters or star players. I remember back in November when Mobley got hurt and Hawkins played well for a few games people wanted to bench Mobley and start Hawkins. Or people wanted to start Posey at SG now Posey is getting hammered for his lack of shooting, which he has had a problem with since entering the league. Now it's "Moochie is better at running the offense then Steve Francis".

Maybe Dirk will be out too

DALLAS -- Dirk Nowitzki sprained his right ankle during practice Wednesday, and could miss the Dallas Mavericks' next game, Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Mavericks said that Nowitzki would be a game-time decision. He missed the Dec. 12 game in San Antonio that the Spurs won 111-104, not even making that trip after spraining the same ankle in the previous game.

Nowitzki was an All-Star for the second time this season and leads the Mavericks in scoring and rebounding with 23.3 points and 9.9 rebounds a game.

San Antonio has won nine straight games -- including an NBA-record eight straight on one road trip -- to improve to 37-16 and move within four games of Dallas in the Midwest Division. The Mavericks have the NBA's best record at 41-12.

All I know is we don't need Steve getting hurt. Even though Yao's here now, we saw last year how this team does without him on the court. I pray that he gets better, but it would probably be best to let him rest during the Dallas game, cause a good team like that would really work him to death.

    No sh*t...

Yao will not be able to do it on his own, and we shouldn't expect the Rook to shoulder that burden...

Moochie could fill in, but it won't be the same...
