I was there too, and this is a ridiculous post.
Steve was fine, Maybe if you saw Rafer Alston and Luther head sucking balls and still playing in front of you, you might be pissed as well. He has acted much better than I thought he would considering the lack of playtime....

    Definitely progress.

Did you see him at the Portland game? He took off his warmups in the tunnell after the game, and was naked under the warmups. Caused quite a stir. :p

How does the roster thing work at the moment?

As I understand it, you have a 15 man roster with no IR. But only 12 could play on a night, so 3 need to be 'stood down' before each game?

If that's the case, then it might not be surprising that he wasn't dressed?

But that might not be how it works...

I remember clearly Francis in the the black wife beater at the end of the game.

He could have taken off BOTH the warmup shirt AND his game jersey at the same time ya know, not like it has to be 2 separate steps for each one...

Francis is a cancer and the sooner he is off this team the better. :D

i'm not bashing the poster, just the idea/logic in general...

i dont understand where any of you get the notion that francis isn't going to work hard to get into shape. all he said is he's waiting. i highly doubt he's literally sitting there waiting and doing nothing.

    jeebus.

i also dont understand why in that other thread, people think tmac's comments towards battier, after the lakers game, were petty. it's like half the members on this board didn't pass high school english and dont grasp the concept of english rhetoric.

Also, its seemingly the fashionable thing to do that everyone has picked up on - critique Steve, figure out the book on this "supposed Franchise" guy. Any way to cut him down and marginalize him. Not just the game of a player that was too highly rated, but as a human being entirely...

Not saying its a conspiracy at all, just that it might be THAT bandwagon attitude - the chastise Steve behavior - thats been more damaging than Francis's own undoing. I'm starting to not get it. How did Cuttino Mobley get to be the dependable night in/night out veteran on his team, but a younger Francis is all washed up and has has nothing to lend to a team anymore? AND he's a cancer? Francis isnt the greatest person but he's not a JR Rider either...

    "please...LEAVE STEVIE AL-ONE!
    you bastards...." :p

I still think he will help us but at the moment he's not at playing level that RA is asking of him. His time will come people just be patient and enjoy the 4-1 start

I know right. Dudes are just reaching too hard trying to find something that's not there. It's like guys are just sitting at their PCs, waiting for Francis is stir some kind of trouble that has yet to happened. And when they don't find it, they analyze and critique any information that has Steve's name in it. Seriously, this is starting to get sad. Can't wait till Steve gets his chance so all the lunatic haters can be silenced.

francis has had a couple of run ins, the superbowl and not going back into the game for orlando in seattle. other than that, he's not the team/coach killer everyone makes him out to be.

people try to extend his sometimes undiciplined play to off court issues. its two totally separate deals.

Francis did this, Francis did that, enough of the Francis not being a good sport about his playing time. He will come around and he will get his playing time.

So why get him in the first place? Is this a marketing scheme by the Rox?? Trying to sell some more tickets using nostalgia? He'll work back in to the rotation.
