    I would like to like Romney, really, though I'd still vote for Obama regardless. But, I want to like him. And the backtracking here and on healthcare really annoy me. If he espoused these views all along at least, he wouldn't seem so sniveling.

    The funniest thing I saw recently is Romney the debt warrior, claiming that he balanced state budgets "without relying on debt" - this is shortly after the Massachusetts State Office of Debt Managment oversaw the lates multi-hundred milllion dollar offering largely to support Romneycare.

    And of course, before that he was a debt kingpin at Bain who built his fortune on LBO's & layoffs.
