Could’ve gotten a frp for him last year from the Knicks which I suggested. I also predicted that 90% of clutchfans would be calling for his head by the all-star break. Think I nailed that one. We are screwed as long as we have this bonehead and his puppet Stone.

Tyus Jones isn't old, and the buyout market doesn't develop until after the deadline

    I love Stone

People here were complaining three years ago

    They are complaining now

They will be complaining in three years even if we win a title. They just love to complain.

Sure, the things out of his control haven't gone well. This is something he can control though.

Such continual hysterics over Stone makes me frustrated As far as his drafting is concerned the only big mistake was drafting Jalen. If the balls had fallen differently we would have drafted Cade Cunningham in that draft. or Wembyyama or Holgrem instead of , Jabari and Amen Thompson. The vast majority of folks drafted after Amen and Jabari were not better and certainly not much better.

One can always fantasize if we had somehow picked the clearly best pick at or after our pick in each draft. A Jokic a Yannis or SGA who all went lower than the first three or four picks. One can always similarly fantasize about the very best lopsided trades of the last few years e.g. Doncic, Avdija or SGA.

Tari and Sengun were out standing draft picks. So was Amen

If it were not for injuries we would be a strong third or fourth with separation form the lower playoff bound. or possibly a threat to OKC. We have strong draft capital and more flexibility in the next couple of years than most.

It sucks but our best picks Sengun and Amen may remain a step below generational talents like Cunningham, Wemby and Flood. This may mean we will not win a championship.

All you can do is ring and ask. The other team might ask for something crazy.

Not making a move = making a wrong move. I ain’t buying the “playing it safe” approach anymore. Last year we didn’t do anything at the deadline and it cost us losing the 1st round as we didn’t have any scoring options from the bench. A year has passed, we upgraded Jalen into KD, but still we are lacking depth in our back-line, which could easily be resolved with trading washed out assets like Adams or dfs. No, they WON’T get back into decent health next year, no reason to build on them.

In 5 years time Amen and Jabari will be far better players than they are now. People worry about Durant and the years left. We got the second seed without him. He is the icing on the cake. He was recruited for the Playoffs. We still have won 7 of our last 10 games. Phoenix is the only other West team that can say that.

I think this is both a bad luck season with FVV out and various nagging ankle injuries to key player but also our core players just haven't performed/developed well enough. We still have picks and players so I think some hard choices are going to be made this off season.

He should be aggressively pursuing Giannis right now and unload that horrendous contract of Sengun.

no reason Tyus Jones can't average 10ppg 5apg 44 per cent shooting, 41 per cent from three and 89 per cent at the line like he did last season if given the chance.
